This book was a decent one。 I enjoyed the overall message of what if everyone did the negative things that someone did and the outcome it would have。 Helps consider decision making。
Deanna,
This is the best book to get kids to think about consequences and behavior。
Jenna Kistner,
This book shows children the importance of why we should follow rules。 Children will obtain knowledge from this book in that they will learn how to follow rules better。
Lannette Boateng,
This book is great for teaching students to not only care about themselves and what they want to do at the moment。 I loved how it showed what would happen if everyone did what the child did。 As I was reading the book, some of the things he did I did not think was a big deal, but when I saw what happened when everyone did it, I was shocked。 It taught me that even when you think something is small and will not affect others, it will。 This book makes you want to keep reading。
Lauren Shaw,
This book was very cute and should be read in school。 It's important for kids to be unique in their own skin and not follow others but this book was the opposite。 It was about other people following you in your steps so be sure you are always making a good example of yourself。 This book was very cute and should be read in school。 It's important for kids to be unique in their own skin and not follow others but this book was the opposite。 It was about other people following you in your steps so be sure you are always making a good example of yourself。 。。。more
Courtney,
This is one of my favorite children books because it is a silly story about a kid that gets asked what if everybody did that。 It is an eye opener because there are times when people may get carried away doing something because they think it is just them doing it。 This is a good story for kids because it is silly, and has several pictures to get them engaged。 Students will start to understand the story while reading as well。

Kiarra,
In what was portrayed, this book was fine。。。 It should be something that we want someone else to do too, and that our acts have consequences, even if it is just that others will mimic others and do the same, thus magnifying those consequences。 Unfortunately, (other than with a picture), it never describes what would happen if everyone did "that" It ends by saying, "What if everyone ended every day by hugging their mom? Everyone should do that!" Does not connect the book together at all。 In what was portrayed, this book was fine。。。 It should be something that we want someone else to do too, and that our acts have consequences, even if it is just that others will mimic others and do the same, thus magnifying those consequences。 Unfortunately, (other than with a picture), it never describes what would happen if everyone did "that" It ends by saying, "What if everyone ended every day by hugging their mom? Donna Backshall,
My wish for this year: that What If Everybody Did That? would be mandatory reading, not just for kids, but for adults of the world too。 We all need a reminder to step back and consider the potential cumulative impact of our actions: "What if everybody did that?"I've always referred to the brand of selfishness/ignorance portrayed here as the "public bathroom" mindset。 We all know this thoughtless type of person, the one who shows no consideration because it's not theirs and they assume someone el My wish for this year: that What If Everybody Did That? would be mandatory reading, not just for kids, but for adults of the world too。 We all need a reminder to step back and consider the potential cumulative impact of our actions: "What if everybody did that?"I've always referred to the brand of selfishness/ignorance portrayed here as the "public bathroom" mindset。 We all know this thoughtless type of person, the one who shows no consideration because it's not theirs and they assume someone else will take care of it。One earth。 We all live here, and it's up to all of us to at least try to keep it nice。 Let's everybody find some positive things to do, and make the right kind of impact。 。。。more
Amy Abbott,
This is a great book for children when teaching responsibility。 I highly recommend it for Social and Emotional Lessons or Character lessons。 The young man in this book learns a lot of lessons about his behavior。 It also ends sweetly and positively。
Jinnifer Rister,
I get the point, we need to develop good manners and self discipline。 In my mind though, there are so many better, easier, more positive and fun ways to become a good citizen。
Angela,
A good question。 This Pb reminds readers why society has acceptable modes of manners and behavior。
Jessica,
Good lesson on responsibility。 Recommended。 Q2020 book。
Courtney Marie,
This series of books is the first one that I read and I loved all of them so much! It helps children understand that just because they did it doesn't mean it doesn't matter。 We all have to work together on this planet and respect our surroundings。 This series of books is the first one that I read and I loved all of them so much! Mallory Lucas,
This is a cute book explaining how you do not need to follow everyone else。 Being a leader is better than a follower。 Good book。
Bryanna Rorie,
I read this book to a second grade class that has been having trouble with not thinking about the consequences of their actions。 This book had been perfect because throughout the book, the boy goes through acting out and kids and adults ask and he thinks about what would happen if everyone did that and he learns an important lesson which lets him be the good influence on people who acted the way he did。
Lauren Hay,
This is a great book appropriate for grades PreK-3。 In this fiction story you get to see the damage that would happen to the world if everyone broke the rules。 This book could be used to teach a variety of different things like: rule following, respect, kindness, and taking care of the environment。 It is a great book to spark a discussion around these things, and get kids thinking about why we have rules and how important they really are。 This book does not discuss/contain any aspect of diversit This is a great book appropriate for grades PreK-3。 In this fiction story you get to see the damage that would happen to the world if everyone broke the rules。 This book could be used to teach a variety of different things like: rule following, respect, kindness, and taking care of the environment。 It is a great book to spark a discussion around these things, and get kids thinking about why we have rules and how important they really are。 This book does not discuss/contain any aspect of diversity。Genre: Fiction (Fantasty) 。。。more

tToday, I read What If Everybody Did That? by Ellen Javernick。 Javernick has written twenty books for children。tIn What If Everybody Did That?, a boy decides to make bad choices such as when he is in school and talks over the teacher。 When he makes these bad decisions, he gets warned not to do them anymore by an adult asking him “What if everybody did that?” He stops the bad behavior。tIn writing this book, Javernick teaches children to be respectful to their environment and other people。tI enjoy tToday, I read What If Everybody Did That? by Ellen Javernick。 Javernick has written twenty books for children。tIn What If Everybody Did That?, a boy decides to make bad choices such as when he is in school and talks over the teacher。 When he makes these bad decisions, he gets warned not to do them anymore by an adult asking him “What if everybody did that?” He stops the bad behavior。tIn writing this book, Javernick teaches children to be respectful to their environment and other people。tI enjoyed it because it taught me to be respectful。tKids should read it because it teaches about respect。 。。。more

Tami Speakman,
This book shows children that even though their one-act doesn't seem that bad if everyone did the same thing it would be bad。 When children are young they sometimes or think of themselves and not realize that other people may be hurt by what they do。 The book teaches the children that we have rules for a reason and if everyone didn't follow them things would be a mess。 At the end of the book, the boy hugs his mom and shows that this is something that everyone should do because being nice to peop This book shows children that even though their one-act doesn't seem that bad if everyone did the same thing it would be bad。 When children are young they sometimes or think of themselves and not realize that other people may be hurt by what they do。 The book teaches the children that we have rules for a reason and if everyone didn't follow them things would be a mess。 At the end of the book, the boy hugs his mom and shows that this is something that everyone should do because being nice to people is the best way to act。 。。。more

A young child does some irresponsible things like interrupting the story time or dropping a soda can。 The child is asked, "What if everybody did that?" and then there is a picture of what the world would be like if everyone acted so irresponsibly。 Good for teaching about being part of a community, being a good citizen, and about our rights and responsibilities。 A young child does some irresponsible things like interrupting the story time or dropping a soda can。 The child is asked, "What if everybody did that?" and then there is a picture of what the world would be like if everyone acted so irresponsibly。 Good for teaching about being part of a community, being a good citizen, and about our rights and responsibilities。 。。。more
